I love that you have a plan of action to pursue helping animals. That's something I circle back to about once a year, but never actually commit to. I think shelter volunteer work is going to be wonderful:) If you're looking for more ideas, I also know a family that consistently fosters dogs in addition to their own pets. It's heartwarming to think that, while they can't save all dogs that way, they are changing the world for multiple individual dogs. ❤️

Haha yeah, apartments make it more challenging 😆 but I saw something once that said a dog would rather be stuck in a home all day than in a cage at the shelter - and that stuck with me!
